Design Engineer
Summary: Responsible for the organizing, directing and conducting engineering assignments. Performs the development of new products and product improvements through design, testing, tooling and pilot production. Primary Job Duties Include: Ensure the development of new products from conception to product release Ensure that products meet the scheduled release dates Coordinate all activities within product development including all testing, UL compliance, toolings, BOMˇs target costs and vendor communications Troubleshoots all problems relating to products, design and implementation including production problems, purchasing issues, testing and value engineering Provide engineering support on a daily basis to sales, manufacturing, marketing, production control and quality to ensure products are produced in accordance to Stonco standards. Provides guidance and support to junior engineers Prepares design drawings from sketches, specifications or another material. Stay current on lighting industry advances i.e. lamps, ballasts, IES, photometry, applications, etc Qualifications: Experienced in 3D Modeling; Solid Works a plus 10 years in the field of Electro/Mechanical Design; lighting a plus BS degree in Electro/Mechanical studies; BS in the Arts of Lighting a plus

Product Manager
Responsible for providing the leadership needed to generate budgeted sales on product lines assigned for the Genlyte Supply Division and the development of new product opportunities.Provide the necessary training to the ExceLine and Stonco sales teams to meet or exceed budgeted sales targets. This will include off site and onsite training, trade show support as well as travel with the local sales teams to write business and create specifications. Provide product and market feedback that generates new product development opportunities. This includes expansions to existing products as well as brand new additions to the line. Generate product marketing briefs. Act as a team captain and/or member of the design teams that complete new product development. Assist in the overall product design process. Act as a liaison to other Genlyte companies in development/launch of products as well as cross branding. Provide technical support to customers, customer service, sales, engineering, purchasing, production control, manufacturing, and suppliers. Manage overall product from quotes to orders to production to shipping. I.e.: set-ups, component shortages, etc
